About us

MADE PROPERLY. PRICED HONESTLY.

A pair of suede loafers costs a certain amount to make. The leather has a price, the lasting has a price, the finishing has a price. Add them up honestly and you land somewhere around a hundred euros. Everything above that is brand.

We are not against brand. We are against paying four hundred euros for it and calling the result craftsmanship.

The Opedako Clo makes the same category of product as the houses whose names you know, from the same order of material, and sells it at the price the making actually costs plus a margin we can defend out loud. No logo on the outside. No story about a founder's grandfather. Just the shoe, the shirt, the knit — and a number that makes sense when you look at what is in your hands.

WHAT WE WILL NOT DO

We will not print a crossed-out price we never sold at. We will not run a countdown that starts over when you reload the page. We will not publish a review we cannot tie to an order. These things work, which is precisely why we had to decide not to use them.

NOTHING IN EXCESS

There is a certain kind of person who has stopped explaining themselves. They dress because they have taste — and taste, unlike trend, has no expiry date. Opedako is designed for them.
